THREE LITTLE PIGS

1933

The three little pigs want to live their own lives and decide to leave their family. The littlest builds a house of straw, which is pretty easy; he prefers to have more time for play. The second little pig builds a house of wood, which is a bit more solid, but he too doesn’t put much effort into it and would rather play with his little brother. The third is really committed to his house, and builds it with mortar and bricks; instead of playing he works very hard. Along comes the wolf and huffing and puffing he blows the first two houses down: the two little pigs run to the house of brick, which withstands the wolf’s powerful puffing. He tries to fool the little pigs with disguises, but in vain. He climbs on the roof and goes down the chimney but falls into the cauldron the third pig has prepared and is forced to run away.
