Bruno Beltrame gave up a long time ago. Of his former talent as a writer has remained just enough for him to “ghost” the biographies of soccer stars and TV celebrities (he is currently writing about Tina, a famous Slovak porn star turned porn-film producer). His passion for teaching has dissolved into to a boring rut of tutoring equally bored kids, the brightest of which is fifteen-year-old Luca, as ignorant as the others but sassy and full of beans. One day the boy’s mother appears, like a ghost from the past, with a revelation that will overwhelm Bruno’s life.
