Min-suh is a high-school girl who feels somewhat alone. Her mother, a single, is busy with her dates with younger men and her friends are busy preparing for university. She has a part-time job but its not enough for all her needs. Tired of her mother’s love affairs, every so often she leaves home. One day she meets Karim, a worker who’s emigrated from Bangladesh, and winds up by stealing his wallet. Karim runs after her and catches her but doesn’t want to get the police involved, on condition that Min-suh guarantees to help him get the wages that his Korean employers refuse to pay him. A strange relationship grows up between them, initially very mistrusting but little by little blooming into friendship.
