Eduard Sporck, a world-renowned music conductor, receives and accepts the proposal to set up an orchestra formed by young Israeli and Palestinian musicians with the purpose of realizing a concert. The undertaking, already difficult in theory, proves to be even more complex in reality because the contrasts are immediately very strong. In particular, the two most talented musicians, the Palestinian Layla and the Israeli Ron, do not spare attacks to each other. Sporck decides to move the whole ensemble to Alto Adige, a place that has marked his personal story, and there he will try to continue rehearsing. But the clashes between the two groups continue.
