A husband is watching a western on TV, but his wife wants to watch her favorite soap; even their neighbour, a war-film fan, wants to watch what he likes. The children are playing with friends in their room. The remote passes from hand to hand, the channels changing from western to war film to soap to mystery to sci-fi and finally to gothic thriller. The situation, already complicated, becomes even more so when even the characters in the different films start interacting with the watchers…
