Felix, an unemployed twenty-year-old petty thief, arrives in a village in Argentina and finds a job in a small farm belonging to a couple who have a one-year-old boy called Chango. In the heat and silence of his work, Felix gradually realises how violent the atmosphere in the household is. At the same time, the boy feels a passion he had never felt before beginning to well up inside him, giving new meaning to his life.
