1849. Davide Guscetti is seen as the village idiot in his little mountain village. When conflicts with the neighbouring village intensify and a quarrel over cows risks turning into a proper civil war, Guscetti is immediately identified as the best candidate for a gun fight to solve the dispute. As though a modern film camera was there to document the event, the film is the anachronistic account of the last few hours of a forgotten hero's life. |
