The phenomena exploded when the young activist Greta Thunberg spoke in December 2018 to the United Nations to bring attention to climate change, provoking a domino effect among young people around the world and up to our latitudes, where hundreds and thousands of young people still organize themselves to strike in order to the Ticino government acts to reduce CO2 emissions.
