Alice is thirty-something, beautiful and perturbed, fleeing from a hectic urban life over which she has lost control. At the death of her father, whom she hasn’t seen for 24 years, she is asked to return to her childhood village by attorney Fretti, her father’s executor. Here she will meet a grandmother she had lost touch with, who rekindles family warmth, an epilectic child who will help her to overcome her own barriers, and a young man who will find the key to her heart. Alice thus tries to repair the damage done to her in childhood by her parents’ inexplicable separation.
