Bellinzona, 1176. Life in the town flows serenely between customs and traditions that have always characterized the habits of the people. While weapons and horses are being prepared in the camps waiting to start an important tournament, a scream breaks the peace: a woman is accused of witchcraft, in the public square, tried and burned at the stake. The tournament is spectacular, the challenge turns into battle as Emperor Frederick Barbarossa is about to arrive.
