Faced with her father's sudden disability, Esra, a nine-year-old girl, struggles to come to terms with an unfamiliar reality. Having moved with her parents to a new home, she begins a new school, where, in order to attract the attention of her classmates, she ends up entangled in a web of lies. The resulting emotional turmoil allows Esra to reconnect with her father, who seemed to her not to be what he once was anymore.
