(“I speak another language but I understand you”). A project of Coscienza Svizzera
The “I speak another language but I understand you” project covers an entire academic year. Each edition involves two upper middle school classes from two linguistically different regions. With the help of film, theater, audiovisuals and modern means of communication the project tries to encourage students to think about the opportunities and barriers of multilingualism and multiculturalism and to personally experience them through on site exchanges and online sharing. The experience of living together (two week-long camps), remote work and co-producing a short offer students the chance to learn another language and get to know another culture.
