THE SKELETON DANCE

1929

The plot, if you can call it that, focuses on a group of four skeletons who, on a dark and windy night, leap out of their coffins and dance, performing in an irreverent danse macabre. Their bones become percussion instruments and xylophones; a black cat becomes a violin. Everything ends at dawn, when the cock begins to crow and the skeletons, alarmed, seek refuge in their tombs.
