Valentin remains paralyzed after a snowboard accident. The boy refuses to accept his condition, is surly and irascible with everyone, starting with his mother who proposes going to a South Tyrol center for the handicapped. Here the boy not only feels like an outsider but also seems annoyed by everyone else in his same physical condition. After excluding himself from all projects and rejecting any attempt at friendship, he has the chance to attend a theater workshop, where he meets Mira, a young assistant he develops a crush on. The two young people spend moments of serenity together, leading to understandings and complicity, even though Mira is engaged to Marc. Thanks to this new relationship Valentin slowly comes out of his shell and makes friends with Lukas, who can communicate only through a voice synthesizer, and with Titus, his roommate. With them Valentin decides to organize a plan to get all of Mira’s attention.
